In My Head | Youth Exhibition

This event is over.
Feb 8, 2024 ~ Apr 21, 2024

From February 8 to April 21, 2024.

This exhibition is intended for curious people both young and old. This project, co-curated by the Musée’s education, outreach and cultural action coordinator Catherine Sanfaçon Dubé and its curator Frédérique Renaud, will immersive visitors in the MBAS collection through the prism of outreach.

Why do works of art make us experience emotions?
How do artists convey their thoughts and their vision of the world?
And how can we transform the ideas in our head into a work of art?

Some forty works from the abundant collection of the Musée des beaux-arts de Sherbrooke will guide you in your exploration in an attempt to find answers to these questions. A visit at once strange, introspective, sensitive and colourful will guide young visitors as they think about their own subjectivity and their emotions, tastes and aesthetic preferences.
