Collection Louis-Émile-Beauregard

A self-taught woodcarver, Louis-Émile Beauregard was born and raised in Dudswell. At the age of 55, he began his collection of wooden models depicting scenes of rural life from the 1920s to the 1940s. His legacy is an impressive body of work of extraordinary precision, including 64 scale models. The artist devoted between 40 and 500 hours to each work. The Louis-Émile Beauregard collection is open from June to September, and by reservation the rest of the year. The exhibition also features a space dedicated to Marbleton-born artist Eva Tanguay. She was one of the first great stars of the vaudeville industry.
