Val-Joli

Val-Joli's history dates back to 1885, when a municipal structure was established in the region, close to the Odanak mission. Closely linked to the Township, Val-Joli separated in 1991 to become its own municipality. It covers a territory of 90 km² and surrounds the town of Windsor, forming an inverted u-shape from the banks of the St. Francis River. Fertile agricultural land and forests cover 80% of the area. In addition to its rural environment, industries and businesses have developed over the years.
