What to do this weekend - July 30-August 1

Here are our suggestions for an action-filled weekend!

Sample the longest pump track in Quebec

The pump track in Waterloo, which has recently been extended, ranks among the top five in Canada! Covering 1,280 square metres, it’s a favourite venue for those who participate in BMX and for mountain bikers, as well as for rollerbladers, skateboarders and scooter riders. Wanna give it a try?

Parc des Générations | 245 avenue du Parc, Waterloo

The Granada Theatre – with real people!

Nothing beats a live show. For many months, we have missed the music, humour, skits and the sounds of live theatre, not to mention the energy that flows back and forth between the performers and the audience, but now the real thing is back! On Thursday, Friday and Saturday, the Granada will play host to Habana Café, Tire le coyote and Guillaume Lafond (in that order). Future acts include Daniel Boucher, Radio Radio and Marie-Pier Arthur.

Like to try a new bike route?

None other than Yvan Martineau recently cycled the Richmond – Danville – Warwick circuit and he absolutely loved it! The 78-km long bike trail is unpaved, but readily accessible, Read what Yves says about his outing, which was filled with ‘pleasant surprises’!
