These Laö Cabines are truly the cutest little cottages! Nestled in the heart of the forest by a cliff or a lake, they act as the ideal base camp for an autumn getaway in the region. Discover the experience Laö Cabines is proposing!
With their wide-windowed facades, these small contemporary cabins offer you a total comfort immersion inside nature. You’ll be able to admire the autumn colours from a front-row seat. Placed at different distances from each other, these cabins are only accessible on foot to offer you total tranquility. They all have a full-equipped kitchen, and everything to ensure you regain your energy.
With a terrain covering 66 acres strewn with small rocky outcrops and streams, you’ll find plenty to keep you busy during your stay! Hiking, kayaks, paddleboards … outdoor enthusiasts will truly enjoy the surrounding nature in autumn at the domain. You’ll also be able to access a 3.5 linear trail offering several points of interest, such as cascades and magnificent views! Would you prefer to take it easier? Offer yourself a relaxing moment inside one of the two spas or settle comfortably by the outdoor fireplace with a good book.
Although the site of Laö Cabines is a destination in itself, you can decide to explore the surrounding area as well. Discover the town of Racine and its public market, hike on the trails of the Sentiers de L’Estrie in the Brompton zone—The view from atop the Colline Larouche is especially worth your while for the little effort you’ll put in—cycle on the Ardoise bike path, climb the Larouche rock-climbing wall… The activities here are countless.
Although you can readily reserve a cabin at the last minute during week days, for weekend reservations you’ll need to plan two to three months in advance.
In fact, if you feel like staying at Laö Cabines this winter, now is the perfect time to make a reservation! By doing so, you’ll be able to explore the snow-covered forest of the domain with your snowshoes, Nordic cross-country skies or with your hiking boots, and then relax in the warmth of your lovely cabin. Tempting, right?
