Les Cocagnes

It’s only natural that Frelighsburg, considered to be one of the most beautiful villages in Québec, is the venue for a brilliant country-style table! Les Cocagnes, as well as being an agro-ecological collective farm, offers 18 ephemeral menus concocted by 21 guest chefs from all over Québec throughout the weekends from June 15 to September 29. What’s on the menu? A 5-course dinner featuring certified organic vegetables freshly harvested on the farm and other local products, plus a wine (or cider or beer!) and food pairing. All under a pergola, in a delightful setting! Psst! All profits go to fund the NPO formed by the Les Cocagnes farm!

Espace Old Mill

The popular market gardener Jean-Martin Fortier has built a solid reputation over the years. It’s no surprise to learn that the farm-to-table dining experience at L’Espace Old Mill, with a menu composed of delights from its gardens, was ranked among Canada’s top 10 new restaurants in 2024! Here, the talented Chef Éric Gendron and his team elevate local flavors and showcase the delicious products of the Brome-Missisquoi gastronomic region. Awarded a Michelin Green Star, a distinction reserved for restaurants exemplary in eco-friendly practices, L’Espace Old Mill stands out as a benchmark in sustainable gastronomy. The farm-to-table menu is offered as a five-course tasting with wine pairings, Thursday to Saturday starting at 5:30 pm.

Ferme Au pied levé

Here, not far from Magog, you’ll find Highland beef and calves, pigs, goats and kids, geese... E - I - E - I - O! The farm also grows the vegetables and herbs you’ll be eating! The Au pied levé farm is another magnificent venue with a country table that lives up to its name! And they do things in style, serving a 6-course gourmet menu in the evening and comforting breakfasts in the morning (don’t forget to bring your own wine!). Once you’ve had your fill, you can enjoy a stroll around the grounds and, why not, pet the adorable farm animals. For groups of 6 to 20 people.

Les Mal-Aimés

The farm-to-table restaurant Les Mal-Aimés, featured among the restaurants recommended by the 2025 Michelin Guide, has quickly earned a special place in the hearts of food lovers who value local sourcing above all else. Here, you won’t find olive oil or lemon; instead, the focus is on boreal, highly flavorful ingredients. Seven- or ten-course dinners, four-course lunches, and picnic baskets are offered throughout the warm season. Whatever option you choose, you’ll find on your plate all the passion and talent of chefs Daniel Charbonneau and Yannick Côté, the latter also managing the market farm Le Jardinier Déchaîné.

Parcelles

Starting in June, on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from midday to sunset, the famous wood-oven pizzas are back at Parcelles, a friendly vegetable farm that knows how to entertain and has a great list of natural wines to go with your pizza and fresh from the garden crudités! Take-Out orders or to enjoy in the fields (or inside a shelter on rainy days!). And don’t forget to visit their lush gardens!
