This winter, its rich events program is marked by magic and nostalgia. Follow us here to explore the treasures that await you!

Create a Magical Village

Are you looking for an original and fun activity your entire family will enjoy during the long-awaited Holiday break? Well, search no more! From December 20 until January 4, the Museum’s entrance lobby will be transformed into an amazing giant cardboard village thanks to a very special activity called Cartonville! Your children will be invited to participate in the construction of this huge town inspired by winter’s magic using only cardboard, scissors, and adhesive tape. However, with the help of their very active brain, a true problem-solving toolbox, we can be certain that they’ll have no trouble creating imaginative houses, beautifully decorated Christmas trees and the most cheerful snowmen! This delightful inventive moment is sure to be a winter highlight for them!

Attend the Theatre of Objects

How would you like to delve deep into the life and legacy of the famous Québec inventor, Joseph-Armand Bombardier, and this by visiting his own garage, the place where everything got underway? Thanks to the Theatre of Objects and Passion as a Way of Life exhibition, you’ll discover M. Bombardier’s ingenious spirit through the first vehicles he designed to glide over our snow-covered terrains! Who knows? Perhaps his exceptional story will inspire your budding young engineers! Then, continue your tour by attending a multimedia show produced by the highly renowned Moment Factory and discover how the Bombardier adventure began and evolved over time, from the famous Ski-Doo® snowmobile to conquering the skies!

Participate in the Museum’s Interactive Displays

Children, with their boundless imagination, will LOVE experimenting with the many features presented in the interactive exhibition Passion for Innovation. Among these, they’ll discover how the Ski-Doo® snowmobile evolved over the years through eight iconic models. They’ll take photos of themselves starring in a snowmobile ad from the era of their choice. They’ll also enjoy imagining, creating and testing their own vehicle for the future in the Idea Studio and exploring a full-scale model of Toronto’s Flexity tramway. They’ll even be able to test their piloting skills as they fly a plane over the city of Montréal in a flight simulator! The perfect activity for busy minds who love to move about!

Experience a Captivating and Immersive Exhibition

Thanks to the temporary exhibition My Region, My Mobility, you’ll navigate through a fascinating and truly educational course as you explore different issues relating to sustainable regional mobility. At the helm of specially designed interactive vehicles, enjoy a fun, hands-on exploration of innovative solutions for your daily commute. Through four scenarios depicting different busy days, you’ll be invited to discover the various aspects of eco-friendly mobility, from the first kilometre to the last.
