Take your pick: adrenaline packed or slow and contemplative?
Playing outside, having fun indoors, exploring unusual attractions, treating yourself. . . it’s all happening here in our region!
Did you know? Vie de Plein air is a four-season sports facility centre established near one of the most beautiful biking paths of the region, which, in winter, becomes a skating path. Here they rent skates, but also snow scooters or fatbikes. In short, there’s something to please the entire family; it all starts next December 21.
At about 8 km from the centre, Savon des Cantons and Gourmet par Nature constitute two amazing discovery stops! At the first halt, you’ll be able to purchase soaps, creams, household products, etc., all hand made. Next, you’ll savour their confits, sandwich spreads and other products prepared with sea buckthorn berries. Check out their website to find their open hours.
The preceding outings have made you hungry, head out to Fondissimo, on Main Street in Magog [10 km]. On the menu of this beautiful restaurant established in an old cotton mill: cheese and Chinese fondues, of course, and, to accompany them, out of the ordinary meat selections: wapiti, ostrich, kangaroo . . . plus, they’ve also elaborated a menu for your offspring! Bon Appetit! and don’t forget to bring your wine.
