Parc national du Mont-Orford

The latest addition to the roster of activities to enjoy at Parc National du Mont-Orford is—you guessed it!—mountain biking. The five new singletracks are accessible via Le Cerisier Discovery and Visitor’s Centre in the Lac-Stukely sector. Totalling about 12 kilometres, these beginner and intermediate runs are perfect for anyone keen to learn or fine-tune their skills. Don’t have a bike? Rentals, including children’s sizes, are available at three of park’s service centres. In other words? No excuses!

Circuits Frontières at Mont Hereford

Mont Hereford’s Circuits Frontières network debuts three new mountain biking trails this summer, including two downhill runs and one uphill. As per their evocative names (“Le Doctorat” (the doctorate) and “La Valse du Diable” (the devil’s dance)), the two new downhill options are best suited to expert riders. The new uphill run, “La Roche Voisine” (literally the rock next door, but a nod to French-Canadian crooner Roch Voisine), leads all the way to the summit. These three new additions bring the total mileage count for Circuits Frontières up to 50 kilometres. So many, options so little time! In other words? You’ll simply have to visit several times throughout the season.

Plein Air Sutton

For its third birthday, Plein Air Sutton is gifting mountain biking enthusiasts with two new trails, bringing their tally up to 30 kilometres of mostly intermediate terrain. The best part? Trails are accessed at the base of Mont SUTTON, which boasts all the requisite commodities (including rentals) to make your outing a success.
