Take your pick: adrenaline packed or slow and contemplative?
This figure-8 loop starts in Georgeville and is one of the region’s most beautiful gravel routes (85% gravel). The view, often overlooking Lac Memphrémagog, takes your breath away from the very beginning and might just help keep you motivated, even during the steep climbs you’ll face along the way.
Starting point: Public Parking
Carr Copp Street, Georgeville
With its boarding dock, its general store, its white residences and its small park in the heart of the village, Georgeville will charm you!
Shortly after you begin, you’ll ride under Narrows covered bridge, which spans Fitch Bay. It was built in 1881 so needless to say, it’s seen a few things in its day…
On one side, a splendid view of Lake Memphremagog and on the other, old multicolored boathouses that give this place a special charm.
With a public beach and plenty of picnic tables, this park is a great place to make a pitstop. Don’t forget your swimsuit!
Twelve kilometres into your ride on Tomifobia Nature Trail, you’ll ride onto Chemin Laflamme, one of the prettiest roads in the Eastern Townships. It offers a 360-degree panoramic view so you can behold the breathtaking surroundings.
2 metres, 20 seconds, a face covering... You know the drill. This summer, we all need to do our part to make this vacation season both enjoyable and responsible.
(In fact, I can even stand apart.)
(Anyways in #touristmode, I'm in no hurry!)
(Ring ahead to avoid the crowd... it’s that simple!)
(I promise... this is no time to joke around.)
Together - For a safe vacation - Let’s be responsible.
