Come To My Place

Feb 1, 2026 ~ Mar 15, 2026

The « Amène-toi chez moi! » project is a series of creations born in France Benoît's passion for old houses, dwellings imbued with unique histories and a special energy. By exploring these emotionally charged residences, she finds a voice that recounts the past, which she strives to convey through her creations.

The integration of recycled jewelry into her works adds another dimension. These jewels, witnesses to a past and a history, blend harmoniously with the encaustic to create a symbiosis between past and present.

France Benoit, visual artist, has particularly distinguished herself with her stylized encaustic creations, influenced by wabi-sabi. She has attended numerous workshops and training sessions led by professional artists to refine her techniques. These years of experience and practice have also allowed France to participate in numerous exhibitions and in receiving several awards for her work. She has been featured at the Blainville Library, The Gathering Table Gallery in Ontario, and in Cooperstown, New York, with the International Encaustic Artists. She is represented by the Kefi-Art Gallery in Toronto and the Perkins Gallery in the Eastern Townships. She is also a recipient of a grant from the International Encaustic Artists Association.

Opening reception Sunday, February 1, 2026, at 2 p.m.
