Saint-Robert-Bellarmin

Subsequent to its settlement by Beauce colonists in 1907, the municipality of Saint-Robert-Bellarmin was renamed in 1944 after Italian bishop Robert Bellarmino. Located at the far limits of the Estrie region, a wind farm with 40 wind turbines 130 metres in height has been in operation since September 2012. In addition, Mount Bélanger features 20 km of hiking trails amid hills, escarpments, and talus slopes. Nature lovers can enjoy an amazing forest ecosystem at Lake Émilie, and vistas along the Summit Drive as far as the eye can see.
