Saint-Robert-Bellarmin

The municipality of Saint-Robert-Bellarmin, settled by Beauce colonists in 1907, was renamed in 1944 after Italian bishop Robert Bellarmino. Located at the far limits of the Estrie region, a wind farm with 40 wind turbines 130 metres in height has been in operation since September 2012. Nearby Mount Bélanger stands at more than 920 metres in altitude and features 20 km of hiking trails and 60 km of riding trails through a maple sugar bush. Amid hills, escarpments, lakes, talus slopes, and waterfalls, nature lovers can enjoy an amazing forest ecosystem at Lake Émilie, and vistas along the Summit Drive as far as the eye can see.
