Saint-Armand

Located northeast of Lake Champlain on the banks of Missisquoi Bay, the hamlet of Philipsburg, one of Saint-Armand’s two sectors, was the first site in the region to have been settled (1784). The constructions dating from the 19th century, the rural setting, the covered bridge (1845) on Edoin Road, and the country roads leading to vineyards, far removed from contemporary turbulence, infuse an old-fashioned essence and charm into this village. A good way to discover these historical and heritage treasures is to visit the 12 stops along the Saint-Armand built heritage circuit.
