Famous for its legendary glades, its unique slope configurations and its snowy microclimate, Mont SUTTON is the perfect destination for avid powder snow lovers, but also for all snow sports enthusiasts. Here’s an idea of the many unique experiences you’ll enjoy here this winter.
Feel like skiing down a hill in a different way? At Mont SUTTON, there are plenty of sliding options! Try their snowscoot: a hybrid contraption, a cross between a snowboard and a BMX, you control manually, like a bicycle. With the station’s initiation package, which includes your equipment rental, it won’t be long before you master your vehicle and dash down the mountain’s snow-covered trails.
Another option: the yooner; This monoski device has a seat and a handle that you maneuver with your feet flat on the snow; a truly original way for you to enjoy the surrounding landscapes.
Are you the type who prefers a good work out? Then try a ski touring experience (also known alpine touring or uphill skiing). With skis using detachable bindings and anti-skid skins, you’ll work your way up to the top of the mountain by taking one of the two uphill trails. Then, you can just ski down any of the skiable domain’s trails or take one of the three forest skiing sectors of the station. Guaranteed fun!
At the end of the day, a stop at the Bar Le Tucker, at the foot of the ski hill, is a must to experience an authentic après-ski moment. You’ll be welcomed inside a friendly atmosphere offering musical performances showcasing local talents and a selection of great tasting beers.
Your head filled with all the day’s exciting ski runs, you’ll find it hard to leave the station! However, the good news is that winter is just getting started, and you’ll be able to come back again and again!
