Cycling in the Coaticook Valley

Beautiful scenery, charming villages and quiet roads are yours for the taking in the Coaticook Valley. There are two bike routes – The Coaticook River Valley Circuit and a gravel road circuit. A couple of our collaborators have done test runs of the routes and describe them here :

Taste our distinctive local wines

Vignoble de l'Orpailleur, Domaine Bergeville, Clos Saragnat, Domaine du Ridge, Val Caudalies... just some of the regional vineyards that make wines with distinctive ingredients or unusual methods of production. Take a look at this article Some special local wines and plan a day along the Brome-Missisquoi Wine Route so you can pick up some great bottles of wine, laced with local flavours!

Peaks and paddles!

Follow the lead of our collaborator Simon Diotte and explore the recently reopened (and restored) hiking trails on Mount Pinacle. Enjoy a pleasant climb to the peak, taking in the spectacular views along the way. To round off the day, enjoy the mountain from another perspective - by paddling around Lake Lyster. (Boat rentals are available at the beach.)

Revel in the good weather - on a terrace….

The evenings might be getting cooler and a little shorter, but there’s still time to enjoy a glass (or two!) seated on one of our pretty terraces. The following describes 10 restaurants with outside spaces, whose location and/or menu exudes the WOW factor!
