What to do this weekend - November 13-15

Now that the region will be turning into a ‘red’ zone as of Thursday, a number of establishments are having to limit access to their premises or to close entirely. However, here are some things that you can still do this weekend, while supporting our local businesses!

Our FAQ will answer any questions regarding COVID-19 in the Townships.

Sample our region’s specialties

Even though you can’t dine in a restaurant just now, you can still make use of the delivery and/or take-out services offered by many of our establishments. There’s no shortage of places! Throughout the region, there are dozens of eateries, specializing in all kinds of dishes and flavours…

Sample some local wines

As a change from the traditional Bordeaux or Suvignon wines, why not sample some of the wines from the Eastern Townships, which are characterized by unusual ingredients or methods of production. You can order them online. Cheers!

Start your Christmas shopping before the rush

Don’t wait until the last minute to shop for gifts! There are loads of great stores and boutiques around the region where you can find a special something for your loved ones. To get you started, check out the following five venues where you will love to go shopping.

A virtual show at Sherbrooke’s History Museum

Tous à vos machines! (To your Machines!) is a virtual exhibition currently running at the History Museum. The show showcases Sherbrooke’s industrial history and its citizens at a pivotal moment in the city’s past. An interactive game (it’s fun and educational!) is also part of the exhibition.
