Restaurants Menus to Enjoy Sugar Shack Flavours

Sugar shacks aren’t the only venue where you can savour typical seasonal feasts while our maple bushes are overflowing with sap! This year, many Townships restaurants are offering special take-out menus during sugaring season. Discover them right here!

Bistro Kapzak

A delicious sugar shack meal-in-a-box is what you’ll receive when you order at Bistro Kapzak. In fact, they’ve recently acquired the necessary equipment to make their very own maple syrup! Bean soup, pork rinds, pork cretons, Polish bread baguette, cheese quiche, maple flavoured bacon and maple syrup dumplings are all on the menu!

Available from Tuesdays to Saturdays. Order before 4:00 p.m. for same-day pickups starting at 5:00 p.m.


Starting March 5, the microbrewery Siboire will launch its very first sugar shack take-out brunch. On the menu, among others, traditional pea soup, frittata made with Zacharie-Cloutier cheese, braised ham hock, Nantes carrots and turnips in sage butter, maple syrup and a litre of their Breakfast Stout beer made with coffee, maple syrup and smoked oats. To liven up your meal, we suggest watching Anthony’s capsules; the Siboire’s friendly virtual waiter will give you a more detailed description of their gourmet menu.

The Café Bistro Les Trois Grâces

The Café Bistro Les Trois Grâces is proposing an amazing sugaring season take-out menu. Ham cooked in maple syrup, scrambled eggs, baked beans, cretons, pork rinds, potatoes, pouding chômeur (maple pudding cake), and maple taffy cones from the Érablière Simard & Côté; everything for a true maple feast!

Available Saturdays and Sundays from March 6 to April 4, 2021. Reserve in advance.

Le Croquis

Celebrate sugaring season in vegan style with the restaurant Le Croquis’ sugar shack brunch. On the menu? Scrambled tofu, maple flavoured seitan ham, chick pea and mushroom pie, pancakes, beans, potatoes, pecan tarts … everything is prepared with maple syrup from Érablière Magolait in Magog.

Pre-order your meal until March 15, 2021. You can pick up your order at Le Croquis Saturday, March 20 between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Le Cellier du Roi

The Cellier du Roi’s chef is offering you an amazing maple flavoured three-course menu. Cream of pea soup, lacquered pork flank crisps, braised beef, maple lacquered salmon steaks, and maple and pineapple upside down cake are offered in this menu for two to be savoured in the comfort of your home.

Here, you won’t find a complete sugaring season menu but rather several gourmet products so you can concoct your own sweet feast! Beans, cretons, sausages, roasted veggies … all kinds of products you can select à la carte and reheat in your own kitchen.

Le Vignoble du Ruisseau

Starting on March 12, the Vignoble du Ruisseau will welcome you in its dining room! The two sugar shack menus offered (one is a 3-course meal, the other offers 6 courses) will definitely make your mouth water! Omelet, maple mac and cheese and bacon, pulled pork, marinated garden vegetables, smoked salmon, hash brown potatoes, maple cotton candy, maple donuts… You must admit, reading this makes you quite hungry!

From March12 to May 2th. Reservations required. Only customers residing in the orange zone and a family bubble per table will be accepted.
