The Eastern Townships, The First Wine Region of Quebec

Updated on Apr 24, 2024

Our regions’ wine adventure began in the early 1980s and has been growing ever since then. Today the adventure is defined by the presence of about thirty vineyards, established by passionate people determined to constantly improve their offer.

Ice Cider was first made right here in the Townships. It’s also where you’ll find a charming chapel nestled in the heart of a vineyard, where you’ll learn how to sabre a bottle of champagne, where you’ll savour organic straw wine and ciders… In the Townships you’ll be able to purchase a unique vermouth, learn more about the “méthode Champenoise” sparkling wine process, relax on a magnificent terrace while admiring the sunset and, finally, get your fill of flavours, aromas and emotions in every vineyard on your way…

As you travel through mountains, hills and valleys, more than twenty vineyards will offer you a unique and unforgettable experience.
