Picturesque country retreat

Lambton, a picture-perfect Cœur Villageois, overlooks majestic Lac Saint-François. This idyllic location makes it a popular vacation spot, giving the town a festive and laid-back ambiance. And to discover its storied history? Look no further than colourful local characters.

The Travel Information Centre is located in the presbytery, a beautiful heritage building, which also houses the Boutique du Presbytère, where you will find local products from the public market (the public market is held Thursday evenings from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. until October 6, 2022), as well as the Café du presbytère for a comforting beverage.

Another point of interest : the Panoramic Station (on the lot behind Lacroix Sports Inc), a spot to take pause and soak in the sight of magnificent Lac Saint-François.

Near the village, you will also find the South entrance of the parc national de Frontenac. Nautical activities, hiking, fishing, swimming... outdoor enthusiasts will be delighted.

Lambton Flavours

The local bakery, Boulangerie Lambton, churns out fresh-baked bread and pastries daily, but you’ll also find an impressive selection of local food products including meats, terrines, maple treats and more. Can’t wait to dig in? Pick a picnic table at the nearby Parc du 150e and enjoy!

An Artist’s Touch

Located in the former presbytery, a visit to Lambton’s art gallery/boutique is worth it for the ancestral setting alone! The heritage space, an exhibition hall on the history of Lambton, was also inaugurated this year. Of course, you’re sure to find something you love among the fabulous works of local artists and artisans.

An outing on the lake

At Parc du Grand lac Saint-François, you can rent kayaks and paddle boards every day from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. between June 25 and August 28, 2022. Reservations recommended.
