Louis S. St. Laurent National Historic Site

Located in the charming Compton village, 20 km from Sherbrooke, Louis S. St. Laurent National Historic Site recalls the life of the former Prime Minister of Canada (1948-1957) and the history of the Eastern Townships. In the authentic general store held by his father, discover the way of life of the rural people at the turn of the 20th century. Visit his birthplace complete with the family’s possessions. A multimedia show highlights his life and works.

Because of the situation, different establishments have had to close temporarily, or modify their operating hours. We suggest you contact them before leaving home.
