Walk your pooch in Mont Ham regional park…. and elsewhere!

One weekend in the month, visitors can walk their dog (provided they are on a leash) within Mont Ham Regional Park. This Friday (until Monday) dog-owners can take advantage of this initiative to enjoy taking a hike with their faithful companion, along the park’s picturesque trails. For other places to walk your pooch, take a look at the following article – Taking Doggy for a walk in the Eastern Townships.

Try out Bromont’s fat bike trails

Take a cue from our writer Yvan Martineau and explore the fat bike trails on Mont Oak. You can rent a fat bike with oversized tires from the National Cycling Centre in Bromont. For further information, click here.

Sip on a good cuppa Joe!

Looking for a comforting cup of coffee, roasted right here in the region? Take a look at our article - 6 Townships Roasters to know - which outlines where to find local cafes with great coffee where you can also buy freshly roasted beans – just the thing to give you an energy boost on those busy weekday mornings!

A last chance to visit the Jouets d’antan exhibition

The Jouets d’antan (Toys of Yesteryear) exhibition at the Beaulne Museum, ends this Sunday. It’s a fascinating collection, showcasing the playthings children enjoyed in days gone by. Your children might be surprised at how simple they seem, compared with today’s sophisticated, electronic toys!
