Here We Go! The Family’s Heading to the Spa!

Updated on Oct 29, 2019

Why not take advantage of Autumn and Winter to take the family to a spa? It’s an activity that both young and old will enjoy. Here’s where to go in the Townships, for moments of pure bliss!

Spa Bolton

Because the Doux-Matins-parents-enfants at the Bolton spa are so popular and places are limited, you must buy your package online to be sure you’ll be able to take advantage of all the baths and saunas. Reserved for children between the ages of 7 and 11, the Doux-Matins-parents-enfants has two formulas they offer at very advantageous prices: the Duo access (one parent—one child) for $30 and the Trio access (one parent, one child and an accompanying other, age 12 or older) for $45. For those whose children are older (between 12 and 16), you should know that the spa welcomes them from Sundays to Fridays, day and evening, for as little as $25. Psst! They don’t need to be accompanied by an adult! Now that’s cool!

Strøm Spa nordique

In Sherbrooke Strøm Spa nordique offers an original formula that unites cares for the body and the belly with their family brunches, offered every Sunday from 7:30 to 11:00 a.m. and includes access to the baths and breakfast. You’ll pay $19 per child (between 3 and 15 years of age) and $44 per adult. You can even complete your experience by adding a mini care à la carte (manicure, massage, facial, etc.) just by calling ahead to reserve. Did you know that kids’ parties are also welcomed here for groups of 8 and more? Just reserve 72 hours before the event and there you go! The gang will really enjoy this!

Spa Eastman

At Spa Eastman, they’ve developed special cares for kids of 12 or younger, whose skin requires special attention. With their bath and body product selection made with natural ingredients, no mineral oils and PEGs, and light aromas (lavender, Rosemary, jasmine and lemon, cedar and lemon), you’ll find it hard to decide which one of these sweet treats you’ll add to your child’s Christmas stocking! If you want your child to shine from top to bottom, offer them a combo mini pedicure and mini manicure of 60 minutes with exfoliants, hydration and varnish to make their nails sparkle!

Spa Villegia

In Orford, you’ll get the whole deal with their mom and child formula, Maman . . . amène-moi au spa avec toi! For $269, you and your child, between the ages of 6 and 17, as a duo, can receive a 30-minute massage, a facial mask and a pedicure (adults, 75 minutes; children, 45 minutes). All you need to do is to fill out the online form and an agent will contact you to finalize the reservation! The Good life, nothing less!

Spa Balnéa

Located in a breathtaking environment just outside of Bromont, until December 16, the thermal reserve has brought back its popular Sunday Morning Balneans for kids aged between 7 and 13! Would you like to initiate your children to the art of Zen and to the benefits of relaxation? All you need to do is to head to Balnea on Sundays from 10:00 a.m. until noon, to take advantage of their thermal experience and a nature excursion without any technological interference. You’ll pay $50 for a parent-child duo package without needing to reserve.

Spa Chéribourg

The most family-oriented hotel in the Eastern Townships also offers a spa where you can select two really cool formulas! You could either try the 30-minute massage as a tandem with your child between the ages of 3 and 11 for $90, or offer them a 60-minute duo massage and care package (pedicure, manicure or facial) for $85, while you relax, reading a book or offering yourself a care by the Chéribourg team (reservations required). No matter which formula you choose, you’ll have free access to the indoor pool and to the popular Chériclub, with its movie theatre and indoor games!
