Waterloo

A cycling mecca in the Townships

Situated at the crossroads of three bike trails - Estriade, Campagnarde and Montagnarde - Waterloo offers a surprising number of things to see and do.

The city recently received the Vélosympathique certification, instituted by the organization Vélo Québec, which notably highlights the quality of services and infrastructures intended for cycling enthusiasts. The region is a popular destination for cycling enthusiasts with possibilities suitable for all levels.

The prime drawing card in Waterloo is the Artria Park which draws its inspiration from the design of French gardens. Situated right in the heart of downtown, its many attractions include the large sculptures dotted around the site (they form an outdoor art gallery), musical concerts and the stunning views of Lake Waterloo.

Located close to the village of Waterloo, Manoir Maplewood combines the comfort and refinement of a hotel. Built in 1865, this magnificent manor was the former home of Senator A.B. Foster, an important businessman.
