Eastman

The northern gateway into the Missisquoi Valley and surrounded by four lakes, Eastman is located at the foot of majestic Mount Orford. Founded in 1888, Eastman is a tourist destination where culture and the outdoors blend with gastronomy. In addition to its renowned Spa Eastman, the village is home to the Théâtre de La Marjolaine, which introduced French summer theatre to Quebec, the performance venue Le Cabaret, and the literary event Les Correspondances d’Eastman. Plan to stop at any of the wide variety of restaurants (including the cosy Café de village Les Trois Grâces), businesses, and antique shops that will delight your senses. Relax in one of the rest areas near the lakes or enjoy strolling along the heritage trail, the new literary trail, or the Louise Portal trail. Enjoy the La Montagnarde trail for biking and hiking in summer (cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in winter), hiking or kayaking in Parc Missisquoi, a treetop aerial course, and water sports, which are all activity options offered to visitors.
