What to do this weekend – January 27-29

With all the winter activities and events in the Townships this weekend, you’ll be guaranteed to have loads of fun! Here’s what on the agenda…

Marvel at the star-filled skies

This weekend, head to the ASTROLAB in Mont Megantic National Park for a spellbinding evening of astronomy! The evenings begin with a presentation about the James Webb Space Telescope, during which you’ll learn about the mysteries of the outer reaches of the Universe. Afterwards - weather and viewing conditions permitting - you can either stargaze outside or track celestial objects through a telescope. The highlight of these Saturday evenings is being able to marvel at the star-filled skies from the vantage point of walking along a trail lit by flaming torches.

BTW: Be sure to dress warmly….
