The Vignoble Courville is certainly one of the most charming stops you’ll make on your Eastern Townships getaway! A Day in the Great Outdoors at the Parc du Mont-Orford

For this second day, we suggest you spend some time outdoors by visiting the Parc du Mont-Orford, a classic destination in the region! Downhill skiing enthusiasts will be delighted to hit the slopes at full speed. The mountain also offers an extensive network of uphill skiing trails. We recommend you try the Renard trail—you won’t regret it. But Mount Orford isn’t just about skiing. You can also explore the site by hiking, snowshoeing or riding a fatbike along the trails. Clearly, everyone will find something to their liking! And to end the day on a high note, stop by the Slalom Pub, which will reopen in January after undergoing a complete makeover. A well-deserved pint in a friendly setting puts the icing on the cake!

If you visit this magnificent region, a trip to the Abbey of Saint-Benoît-du-Lac is a must. Built in 1912 by Benedictine monks originally from France, the abbey dominates Lake Memphremagog with its impressive architecture. Visitors can discover the fascinating history of the site through anecdotes, enjoy the exceptional view from the church terrace and watch an exclusive video about the monks’ lives, featuring their personal stories.
