Musée Lac-Brome Museum

The museum is located in the heart of Knowlton (Town of Brome Lake). Easy to access, it includes many buildings: the old fire station; a children's museum; Annex Martin housing the Fokker DVII, a First World War aircraft, one of the few in the world in perfect condition; the former courthouse, which dates from 1858 and is now the museum's archives; the former Knowlton Academy and more. Our museum dedicates the largest collection of First World War artifacts outside of the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. The home of Knowlton's founder was added to the site in October 2014. The Lac-Brome Museum is a great place for history buffs, or for a memorable family outing and more.
