Brigham

Brigham is named for the owner of a brick factory, which was this area’s largest business in the mid-19th century. Tangible signs of the past include two covered bridges, one of which underwent major restoration in 2001; the neo-Renaissance Brigham Manor (1865), as well as the Brigham United Church (1872), both of which have been converted into private homes; and numerous houses dating from 1865 through 1890. Living in a predominantly rural and agricultural setting, Brigham’s residents enjoy excellent market garden produce from neighbouring farms, and visitors delight in the three vineyards and numerous maple syrup operations.
